COMPANY OVERVIEW
One of the world's largest independent manufacturers of electronic and electromechanical components is looking for an Account Manager_Asset Tracking Solution Business(m/f/d) in Unterschleissheim near Munich OR Leinfelden-Echterdingen near Stuttgart OR Düsseldorf. This position is initially limited to 12 months.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identification of potential new customers, customer acquisition and development of long-term and intensive business relationships

  • Presentation of our product portfolio to potential customers, professional customer advice including clarification of technical specifications and requirements, elaboration and negotiation of prices and conditions, preparation of offers and negotiation up to the conclusion of the contract

  • Responsible for expanding our IoT ecosystem, product offering, and expanding our tariff business models

  • Account management, including building and maintaining a trusting and long-term partnership with our customers

  • Continuous expansion of a strategic business area

  • Project responsibility including success monitoring of all sales activities (planning, controlling of budget and resources, reporting)

  • Work closely with the product management team to develop recommendations for our business strategy

  • Coordination of project goals and steps with all parties involved

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Successfully completed studies in the field of business administration, finance, logistics, product management, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study

  • Relevant several years of professional experience in the field of sales, account management, project management or in an equivalent field in the aviation or retail logistics industry

  • Strong sales affinity with a strong customer and product orientation

  • Negotiation skills, convincing communication and presentation skills

  • Confident and trustworthy appearance, positive charisma and healthy ambition

  • Assertiveness, the will to succeed and self-motivation

  • Proactive, solution-oriented and independent way of working

  • Ideally, basic knowledge of agile development tools as well as experience with Salesforce or similar CRM

  • Secure use of common software tools (e.g. MS Office, MS Project)

  • Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken

  • Flexibility and willingness to travel
