JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The role of the accounting staff is to ensure the proper and continuous operation of the company by being in charge of all matters related to the company´s money flow, including budget and closing operations, managing and executing various transactions related to office expense, and handling tax matters.
Based on the accounting work, the scope of work includes general administrative tasks.
Specific Duties
Communication and payment with accounting firms for employee payroll calculations
Internal coordination and communication with accounting firms in connection with various tax-related matters(e.g., sales tax, business tax, income tax, etc.)
Confirmation of expenses(e.g. invoices, travel expense settlements, confirmation and approval of expense reports, ets.)
Bookkeeping(DATEV)
Management of bank accounts and online banking, Fixed asset management, inspection, and reporting
Preparation of budgets(semi-annual, annual, etc.), - analysis of financial results(monthly, semi-annual, annual, etc.) to relevant parties, including the head office
2.General Administrative tasks
Office Management
Processing according to internal work flow and rules(Purchase Oder, Neede arrangements)
Responding to external audits related to the above tasks(yearly, on request)
Collaborating with external agencies(law forms, accounting firms, government offices, etc.) as necessary to perform the above tasks
Backing up and collaborationg other administrative and accounting staffs when they are sick, on vacation or if any help needed.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
COMPETENCY (“Must”) *Must meet all of the following requirements
Experience with all aspects of Microsoft Office
Business level German and English (speaking, reading, writing)
Good communication skills and ability to work well in a group environment
Positive attitude and willingness to take on challenges
Preferred Requirement
Business level Japanese

Working hours: full-time 8:30AM – 5:30PM Monday-Thursday
8:30AM – 3:00PM Friday
+/- 1hour flexibility
