COMPANY OVERVIEW
A long-established Japanese manufacturer that has been in business for 75 years, they have a global manufacturing and sales network. Their main business is the manufacture of chemical products, lubricants, engine oils, etc. In particular, many of their products are for the automotive industry, and their main product in Europe is Engine coolant. They have entities around the world (US, Mexico, China, Malesia, and Germany).
Their German entity has both a production site and a business site, there are over 50 employees. Currently is recruiting for multiple positions in preparation for future business expansion.
Their production site is located in the south of Düsseldorf (commuting is easily achieved by car, but public transport is also available), and they plan to move their business site to the city centre at the beginning of 2025.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Management production line (preparation and testing of formulations for the production process)
Testing and quality management and inspection of the production site (raw materials for the production of antifreeze and brake fluids and their products)
Improving production efficiency (including adjusting changes in product specifications, etc)
Ensuring compliance with international standards and ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 certification in the laboratory process
Execution of various laboratory projects
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience in the chemical industry and how to use lab equipment and inspection procedures
Background of Chemical (knowledge about liquid concentration, PH, machine handling, etc)
Experience in certification organizations inspection institutes, and research institutes would be nice to have
Native-level German language skills (to communicate with production site workers) and Business-level English
