COMPANY OVERVIEW
A Japanese business consulting company is seeking a Project Manager (m/f/d). This position involves the development and implementation of business processes to fulfil the identified business requirements. The role procures and utilizes the necessary resources and skills within the agreed cost, time and quality parameters. In addition, the Tech Project Manager should be able to lead technology-oriented projects and understand software solutions or system architectures (e.g. SAP).
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Project Management: Definition, documentation and implementation of small projects or sub-projects, while identifying and managing the risks to the success of the project. The Manager coordinates the project approach with stakeholders, creates realistic plans (including quality, risk and communication plans) and tracks the activities.
- Portfolio, program and project support: Being responsible for providing support services for projects. The Person should be able to utilize and further recommend project control solutions for the planning, scheduling and tracking of projects. The establishment and provision of detailed guidance on project management software, procedures, processes, tools and techniques, are involved in the tasks of the Project Manager. Also, risk, change, quality, financial or configuration management were crucial for the position.
- Business Analysis: Examination of operational requirements, problems and opportunities and the identification of effective business solutions through improvements in automated and non-automated components of new or changed processes were the main responsibilities. The person assists in analysing stakeholder objectives and underlying issues arising from the business requirements, and furthermore identifies solution option.
- Requirement definition and management: Contributes to selection of the requirements approach for projects, selecting appropriately from predictive (plan-driven) approaches or adaptive (iterative/agile) approaches.
- Relationship Management: Implements stakeholder engagement/communications plan and deals with issues, managing resolutions, corrective actions, and the collection of relevant information from customers and stakeholders to help measuring effectiveness in stakeholder management. Support to develop and enhance customer and stakeholder relationships.
- People Management / Resource Management: The Manager is involved in the overall recruiting process and proposes support for hiring decision and pre-selection of candidates. The person monitors and evaluates team workload and organizational efficiency with the support of IT systems, data and analysis and team feedback and makes appropriate changes to meet business needs and also, provides the team members/direct reports with clear direction and targets that are aligned with business needs and GIT objective
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- University degree with focus on Business Administration or IT or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in spoken and written English * If English isn't your first language, please provide an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) result to demonstrate your competence in English, or show equivalent working experience
- At least 7-year experience in IT
- 5 years of experience in relevant area
- 2 years of experience in team management
- Strong understanding & knowledge of regional and global market landscape and the respective customer
- Managed critical elements and cross functional and regional project
