A Japanese company that is using its combined capabilities in arc welding technology and system integration to further develop the potential of automation in European business is looking for a Product Manager (m/f/d) (Department: Engineering) in Munich.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • As part of our process development team, you will be responsible for preparing products from our parent company for market launch

  • Independent support of various customer projects

  • Coordinating and agreeing technical changes with customers, international production plants and internal specialist departments

  • Supporting change work and creating change instructions and change notifications

  • Root cause analysis and support with troubleshooting

  • Finding solutions and developing ideas for possible improvement and optimization measures for products that have already been introduced

  • Independent development, planning and execution of test series and test setups as well as evaluation, documentation and presentation of results

  • Carrying out market, competition and trend analyses as well as supporting marketing and sales measures

  • Close cooperation with the application technology, sales / marketing and service team

  • Establishing knowledge transfer through proactive communication and clear documentation

  • Participation in specialist events and trade fair visits

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Completed studies in the field of electrical engineering, or completed further studies in the field of electrical engineering would be an advantage

  • Ideally, you have already gained initial professional experience in product management.

  • Experience in the field of welding technology (welding processes/methods, welding equipment) would be desirable

  • Strong communication skills (impeccable manners with customers) and a confident, friendly and representative manner

  • Independent and solution-oriented way of working, but also team-oriented work

  • Willingness to constantly develop further in robotics / welding technology

  • Willingness to travel

  • Good IT skills and confident handling of standard software (MS Office)

  • Fluent written and spoken English is a prerequisite

  • knowledge of English

  • German required
