COMPANY OVERVIEW
A renowned Japanese manufacturer specializing in automotive chemicals is seeking a Strategic supply chain planner in the Greater Düsseldorf area. Located in the south of Düsseldorf, commuting is easily achieved by car, but public transport is also available. The company is currently recruiting for multiple positions in preparation for future business expansion.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Improve strong relationships with suppliers including nationally/internationally
- Market research and strategic planning for supply chain management
- Negotiations with stakeholders and contribute to reduce costs
- Lead the optimization and improvement of supply chain management (As considering warehouse situation, re-order system, etc)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Native-level German and Business-level English
- Several years of purchasing experience at the manufacturer
- Chemical or Automotive industry experience or background is preferred
- Skills to build good relationships and negotiate with suppliers
- Achievements of optimization or improvement in the SCM field
- Microsoft Office (especially Excel) skills
