COMPANY OVERVIEW

 

A Japanese trading company based in Düsseldorf, specializing in dealing in various product lines, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and electronic devices. In Germany, there is high demand for pharmaceuticals and surveillance cameras. Additionally, they aim to expand into the biochemicals market.

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Entering customer/vendor information to the system 

• Posting invoices such as purchases and expenses 

• Payment arrangement to vendors 

• Monitoring account receivable collection 

• Review and process employee/ Representative office expense reports 

• Assisting general accounting matters 

• Supporting audit work (statutory, tax, internal) 

• Supporting group consolidation work

• Balance confirmation with intercompanies 

• Preparation and filing of accounting and office related documents 

• Coordination with leasing companies (office, company cars, office equipment)

 • Arrangement of office supplies and sundries 

• Assisting insurance arrangements 

• Assisting management for personnel and general affairs matters

*Payroll calculation is outsourced. *Corporate tax calculation is also outsourced

Essential skills and experiences)

Junior level accounting, office management skills

Communication skills

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • A couple years of experience in accounting in Germany

  • Office management skills

  • Proficiency in German (B2 level or above) and English.

  • Microsoft NAV/Business Central experience, if not, other standard major ERP experience is desirable

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.

  • Ability to adapt to new challenges and work efficiently in an international setting.

  • Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to completing projects.

  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn about new fields and industries.

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

     

BENEFITS FURTHER

  • 30 days of annual leave.

  • 37.5 hours / week (9:00-17:15 on Mon.-Thu, 9:00-16:00 on Fri.)

  • Home office 2 times/ week accepted (after completing probation period)
