An established medium-sized company based in Jena with a history of over 30 years and part of a global group with production sites in Germany, Japan, and the USA is currently looking for a Sales Manager for Actuator related parts (m/f/d).
This company supplies products for drive technology to various industries including machinery, semiconductor, optics, medical technology, aerospace, and many others.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing the products in Germany and Europe
Acquisition of new customers and development of new markets
Professional presentation of the company and customer training
Identification of customer requirements, development of technical solutions, and provision of technical consultations
Preparation of calculations and offers, and follow-up until contract conclusion
Scheduling and monitoring of orders
Participation in trade fairs and exhibitions
Field sales activities
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Willingness to travel; Class B driver's license
Completed commercial training and several years of experience in sales
Proficiency in MS Office and other common software applications
Basic technical understanding is desirable
Strong customer and service orientation
Excellent communication skills, negotiation ability, and assertiveness
Quick comprehension, resilience, and self-initiative
Fluent German is a must, good command of spoken and written English is beneficial
