COMPANY OVERVIEW
A Japanese consumer products manufacturer in Düsseldorf is looking for a Sales Representative. Their products are famous in Japan as consumer goods (B to B to C), but they mainly do business in industrial/healthcare fields in Europe (B to B). Their German base currently has less than ten people, but their business expanded will increase their organization.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sales to existing dealers and distributors (approximately 30 companies)
  • Developing new sales agents
  • Marketing plan formulation and execution
  • Support for sales operating tasks (import management and sales management, etc)

Expectations for the first year;

  • Learn about the company, products, and customers 
  • Developing new sales channels
  • Be familiar with sales operations tasks
  • Assumes to be a sales representative for existing dealers 6 months after joining the company

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Native-level German or English skills
  • Conversational-level Japanese or work for a Japanese company experience is preferred
  • B to B sales experience (2 years or more, FMCG market could be a plus)
  • Communication skills for keeping good relationships with internal/external stakeholders and negotiation/proposal
  • University graduate or completed sales-related training from a vocational training school
  • MS Office and General PC skills

 

BENEFITS

  • Working hours: 37.5 hours/week (8:30-17:00, office based, flexibility depends on a break time)
  • Holidays: 30 days (a part of that at the end of December is company-designated)
