JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers during their evaluation and design phases.
- Lead the process for securing design wins with key accounts.
- Provide prompt and comprehensive responses to customer inquiries, while proactively seeking critical information.
- Generate and manage "Request for Quotations" (RFQs) for custom engineering or regulatory certification support.
- Keep detailed records of customer communications, project statuses, and issues using CRM tools.
- Prepare and present important customer project updates internally.
- Facilitate the transition of customers from evaluation to production, managing all technical interactions.
- Oversee post-sales technical issues and support.
- Enhance customer support materials, including application notes and user guides.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot wireless hardware/software/regulatory issues.
- Engage in continuous learning through webinars, technical papers, and deep-dive sessions.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Linux O/S and embedded drivers, preferably wireless.
- Ability to write, modify, and debug "C" code.
- Familiarity with hardware schematics and CAD layout tools.
- Experience with wireless test network methodology and troubleshooting.
- Language proficiency in English (business fluent) Japanese is an advantage
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Advanced degrees in Electrical/Computer Engineering (Master's, PhD)
- 2+ years direct customer support.
