The location at Frankfurt Airport (Kelsterbach) plays a special role in the network, as in addition to classic import and export and warehousing, it is often responsible for additional (project) services, e.g. logistics services for presentations at various locations in Europe or product launches with special confidentiality. We are looking for an experienced logistician (m/f/d).
Air Freight Operations Specialist (m/f/d)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Focus on import / air freight
- Preparation, organization and coordination of global transport offers and freight documents, both for air, sea and land freight
- Commissioning transport service providers for European and global transportation
- Optimization of your own area of responsibility, e.g. by optimizing service providers
- Project responsibility, deadline monitoring and updating project plans
- Documentation and information to clients
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Completed training in the field of forwarding / logistics, alternatively (Bachelor's) degree
- Professional experience in a comparable area of responsibility including customs clearance
- Structured, independent and service-oriented way of working
- Team player, hands-on with service orientation
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
- Possession of a car driving license and preferably also a forklift license
