As the European headquarters based in Hamburg, they provide demanding and customized maritime transport solutions for customers in the automotive and machinery sectors. Their responsibilities include planning and chartering regular transport services from Europe to North America and Asia, as well as marketing these services within Europe.
To strengthen their dynamic and multinational team in Hamburg, they are looking for a Financial Accountant (m/f/d) to start immediately.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
All tasks related to accounts receivable/payable, including dunning
Preparing payments to suppliers
Processing customer payments
Digital processing and archiving of incoming invoices
Supporting the annual financial statements
Supporting projects
Reporting to the parent company in Tokyo
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Successfully completed commercial training
- Further training as a certified accountant or equivalent qualification is an advantage
- Professional experience in accounting
- Business fluent in both German and English skills
- Careful, structured, and reliable working method
- Team spirit, sense of responsibility, and service orientation
- Proficient in MS Office and Excel
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Knowledge of Sage is an advantage
Familiarity / experience in Japanese company will be beneficial
