COMPANY OVERVIEW
A Japanese-based international general logistics company is looking for a person as an operation staff with experience in the forwarding industry.
They have more than 100 years of history and employ more than 20,000 people. The group's network is spreading all over the world, they have 58 entities in the world.
The German base was just established in 2020 and is currently operated by a small team (more or less five people), they plan to expand their business in Europe as well.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Daily operation for Delivery/Customs clearance/Warehousing and the management of these tasks
(Mainly sea cargo import/export operations and customer service)Communication with customers and suppliers (Europe, Japan)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Native-level German, Business fluent level English
- Dutch is preferred
At least 3 years of work experience in the forwarding industry
BENEFITS
- Working hours: 40 hours a week (basically 8:30-17:00 (flexitime available)
- Paid vacation: 30 days per year
- Home office: about 1 day a week
- Commuting allowance: Yes (public transportation only)
