JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish HR Function: Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, creating the HR function from the ground up.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new employees.
  • Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Compliance: Ensure the company’s HR practices comply with local labor laws and regulations across Europe.
  • Performance Management: Develop and administer performance appraisal systems, employee development programs, and career progression plans.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and create programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain talent.
  • HR Metrics and Reporting: Develop HR metrics and prepare regular reports to inform management decision-making.
  • Cultural Development: Promote and maintain company culture and values across all European offices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Several years of experience in HR
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of European labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. 
  • Languages: Proficiency in German and English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to other European offices as needed. (maximum 2 times per a location a year)

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Working experience or familiarity in Japanese company is an asset 

 

BENEFITS AND OTHERS

  • Annual Leave: 30 days of holiday per year 
    • Mon - Thu between 8:30 and 17:15 
    • Fridays between 8:30 and 16:15
  • Working hours39 hours / week
