JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for customs operations of import and export shipments in compliance with the statutory customs regulations
Play a crucial role in facilitating international trade by managing the flow of goods across borders
Monitor and create the customs-relevant documents and check the documents' accuracy
Possess a strong understanding of customs regulations, international trade practices, and logistics procedures
Execute controls to align with risk-control framework and guidance from centres of expertise to resolve cross-border issues
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders due to logistics processes, enquiries, or priority management, including clients, freight forwarders, logistics carriers, brokers, government sectors, and other regulatory organizations
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in logistics, import/export operations, international trade, customs brokerage, or a related field
Strong proficiency in MS Excel
Business level in Dutch and English communication skills
Eligible to work in the Netherlands
