Overview
A Japanese manufacturer of electronic components is seeking a Business development /Account Manager (m/f/d).
Responsibilities
Acquisition of new customers for products
Support and further development of existing customers
Building strong and long-term customer relationships
Negotiating prices and sales conditions with customers
Preparation of quotations
Support for product development from sample production to mass production
Technical discussions: Identifying customer needs and proposing custom solutions with the support of our technical department in Japan
Handling complaints
Close collaboration with the sales team in Munich and Japan
Continuous market observation and analysis of competitive trends
Planning and execution of customer visits in Europe
Participation in trade fairs
Forecast reporting
Qualification
Completed commercial or technical training or a comparable qualification
At least 3 years of professional experience in sales
Business-level proficiency in English and either German, French, or Japanese
Willingness to travel and a valid driver's license
Good technical understanding
Teamwork and strong communication skills
High level of initiative and motivation
