Overview
A Japanese manufacturer of electronic components is seeking a Business development /Account Manager (m/f/d).

 

Responsibilities

  • Acquisition of new customers for products

  • Support and further development of existing customers

  • Building strong and long-term customer relationships

  • Negotiating prices and sales conditions with customers

  • Preparation of quotations

  • Support for product development from sample production to mass production

  • Technical discussions: Identifying customer needs and proposing custom solutions with the support of our technical department in Japan

  • Handling complaints

  • Close collaboration with the sales team in Munich and Japan

  • Continuous market observation and analysis of competitive trends

  • Planning and execution of customer visits in Europe

  • Participation in trade fairs

  • Forecast reporting

 

Qualification 

  • Completed commercial or technical training or a comparable qualification

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in sales

  • Business-level proficiency in English and either German, French, or Japanese

  • Willingness to travel and a valid driver's license

  • Good technical understanding

  • Teamwork and strong communication skills

  • High level of initiative and motivation
