A family-run Japanese company with more than 200 years of history is looking for a Junior Logistics staff (m/f/d). The company became the top brand of pet food in Japan and is also expanding internationally to make pets and their owners around the world happy.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position, you will assume responsibility for supporting the logistics operations for the DACH region. Your regular duties will include:
- Assisting with the coordination and management of logistics processes.
- Ensuring accurate data entry into logistics and inventory systems.
- Monitoring and tracking shipments to ensure timely delivery.
- Communicating with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve any logistical issues.
- Maintaining detailed records of inventory levels and movements.
- Supporting the preparation of logistics reports and documentation.
- Participating in the continuous improvement of logistics processes and practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- Successfully completed university degree or vocational training (Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field is a plus).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- MS Office
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- English business level, German and other European languages are a plus.
- Must be able to write reports in English and submit them in a timely manner.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Working experience or familiarity in Japanese companies is an asset
