A Japanese chemical trading company based in Düsseldorf, specializing in providing high-value-added products in the fields of plastics, biofine chemicals, and specialty chemicals. Due to business expansion, we are seeking a responsible and adaptable sales professional.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and partners across Europe through effective communication in English and Japanese.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base across the European market, creating new business ventures.
- Coordinate and manage client meetings, product presentations, and negotiations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, production, and finance, to ensure smooth sales operations.
- Maintain sales records, prepare reports, and follow up on customer inquiries.
- Prepare quotations and handle order-related tasks.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Proficiency in Japanese (C1 level or above) and English.
- Intermediate to advanced German language skills (minimum B1 level).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Ability to adapt to new challenges and work efficiently in an international setting.
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to completing projects.
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn about new fields and industries.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid driver's license.
