COMPANY OVERVIEW

A Japanese multi-functional group trading company, which was formed in 2004 and actively engages in global business is seeking a Sales Administrator for its machinery department located in Düsseldorf. The subsidiary in Düsseldorf is in charge of the machinery trading-related business and handles import and export sales of machinery/equipment, products in various industries such as Steel / Metal, Marine, Semiconductor, Automotive, Plastic (Upstream to Downstream), Energy, Food processing and furthermore.

 

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Marketing and promoting for flexographic printing plates
  • Executing order processing for import and export business, including triangle export business, including timely issuing of all relevant documents
  • Co-ordination of logistics (ocean, air and road transport) to arrange timely delivery from suppliers to customers, including checking of transportation documents. 
  • Transportation documents, like Bill of Lading and Packaging List, are issued by forwarding company
  • Inventory control and inventory management.
  • Issuing invoices, applications for internal credit limit and external credit insurance, control of payment receipt including dunning process.
  • Management of all related tools and databases.
  • Communication with suppliers and customers in relation with inquiries and orders. 
  • Occasional visit to the suppliers to accompanying the customers.
  • Provision of sales figures and various statistics for sales staff and manager
  • General support to sales staff and manager

 

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Experienced in sales administration, logistics administration for import and export
  • Business-level of German and English (Japanese or further language skills are nice to have) 
  • General PC skills
  • Deep knowledge and skills in MS Excel would be an advantage(handle big data, sorting and filtering, understanding WHEN & IF statements, SUMPRODUCT, VLOOKUP, PIVOT tables & PIVOT reporting)
